Office clerical assistant to Sales Dept. Duties includes data entry, copying, filing, scanning, e-mailing, following up with customers, tracking projects and status of sale requirements, and making travel arrangements. Will prepare quotations, update forms, greet visitors and other general office duties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
•Attend semi-weekly Projects Review Meetings and take notes
•Prepare worksheets per requirements determined by engineering & production
•Prepare quotes per approved worksheets
•Follow up with Sales Managers re: missing information to quote
•Follow up with Customers re: samples/missing project requirements
•Track missing quote information and sold project requirements
•Make travel arrangements for sales personnel
•Keep office in 5S compliance
•Log in samples and bulk
Education and Experience
High School or Technical School diploma.
1-2 years general office experience a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must have experience in general office duties and able to multi-task, work independently and meet deadlines.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills and be self-motivated.
